Workshop at Common Farm Flowers
Wednesday 21st February 2018
Style Your House for Photography
A day to inspire you to make the most of your house for photography.
Whether you’re a lifestyle blogger or you’d like to use your house for filming or advertising shoots, or even if you’re considering putting your house on the market,
Using the studio space at Common Farm Flowers, stylist Amanda Russell will show you lots of clever styling tips with which you can make the most of your rooms, accessorise them beautifully, and photograph them cleverly.
Bring your camera and be prepared to have some styling fun while you learn.
Amanda Russell has had a styling and interior design career, which started as far back as working with Linda Barker on her tv design shows and magazines. Most recently she was styling images for Lia Leendertz’ new book on indoor gardens. She is an upcycler, a transformer, and has a brilliant eye for making the most of interiors, and the objects we choose to dress the spaces where we live and work.
The workshop will take place at Common Farm Flowers from 10-3.30 and the price includes refreshments and a delicious light lunch. Book your place on the workshop here
I run workshops for many different kinds of clients.
I host creative design and craft based adventures that range from team building to education and communications workshops for groups, through to corporate entertainment for people who want to offer their team or clients something bespoke and different.
For the general style, think a making project demonstration showing technique as well as examples, followed by a session of making, all inspired and helped by an experienced designer. The great thing about creating and making is that it is seriously sociable, it gets people talking and exchanging ideas while having a good time.
I offer a wide range of bespoke events, anything from 2 hours to half or even full days and evenings. I work with intimate groups and am happy to work with bigger numbers for large scale events. My events are mobile so can be brought to your office or venue.
I’ve produced events for major cultural institutions including The Fashion and Textile Museum and leading life style brands such as Country Living Magazine, Laura Ashley and Heals as well as major corporations.
